Inflatable pipe plugs are effective tools for quickly and reliably sealing or closing drainage systems, pipes, sewers, and drains. They are primarily used in repair and maintenance work, in accidents, and for leak testing with water or air, according to DIN EN 1610, in new or existing sewers and pipe sections. Therefore, they are highly valued by water systems organizations, the construction industry, civil engineering firms, and fire and rescue services.
The pipe plugs are made of high-quality rubber reinforced with fabric. They are resistant to weathering, temperatures from -30°C to 80°C, potable and wastewater, and chemicals.
The basic series consists of 23 standard types in sizes to fit pipes from 150 to 1200 mm in diameter. All plugs are tested at 1 or 3 multiples of the operating pressure and withstand a backpressure of 1 bar or 0.5 bar. Each plug includes a brief instruction manual.
